1. Who is SiteLocal?
SiteLocal is part of the CityLocal group which looks after the build and design of CityLocal clients websites.

2. Does this website package include email accounts?
Yes. You can have as many accounts as you need.

3. I have not got technical knowledge or skills - does that matter?
No. We will ensure that you have all the information and training required to confidently manage your site. The CMS setup is easy enough for all levels of users.

4. Can I manage the site myself?
Yes. After your website has been built, you will have the ability to manage it yourself through a unique username and password, giving you the ability to make changes to the content as and when required.

5. What is a CMS system?
CMS stands for Content Management Solution. It gives you the ability to make changes to your website online at anytime you want to.

6. Do you provide a domain name?
We can purchase domain names on your behalf if you wish. Any name we registered through SiteLocal belongs to you. Please beware that some companies offer cheap domain names, but they own and retain full rights to it. We do not do this. If you are unsure please ask.

7. What if I have already purchased my own domain name?
This is fine - we can still point your new website to the server which hosts your domain. We will ask you for the relevant information at the time. Please note that you will need to maintain the costs of your own domain name to keep the website live.

8. Can I host the site myself?
Sorry, but no. The CMS system is on our servers which we manage and look after on your behalf.

9. What if I already have a website in place, but would like to move it to SiteLocal?
No problem - this can be done. It will require the same content to be rebuilt into the CMS. Please discuss this further with your SiteLocal representative.

10. Can I move the site later to another company?
If you so wish, but please note that your site is built using a database and not using standard HTML files. If you decide to move your website at a later date, your new web company may have to re-build the site for you, and they may pass on the charge to you for doing this. We will of course do everything we can to ensure a smooth transaction.

11. Are there any hidden fees or costs?
No. CityLocal will take you through all the options and prices regarding a website build and other online or offline marketing services available.

12. How do I enquire about a website from SiteLocal?
The quickest way is to complete the online form on the contact page, including your location, and we will get your nearest CityLocal representative to contact you directly. You can also visit www.citylocal.co.uk and find you nearest representative that way.

13. If I decide to go ahead with a website with you, what is the process?
Firstly your CityLocal representative will meet with you to dicuss your requirements and help you draw up a brief of what you need your website to do / achieve. Once you have provided all relevant information about your business i.e. logo, branding information, information for the pages, etc, we will produce a design concept for you. From this we will be able to build your site and get it up and running when you need it.
